Application Note
Nitride-bonded silicon carbide (NB SiC) tubes provide a cost-effective solution for thermocouple sensor manufacturers tubes can be fabricated in a wide variety of outer and inner diameters, with multiple mounting configurations available. Unlike cast iron tubes, NB SiC does not introduce contamination into non-ferrous melts. It is also commonly used in temperature-sensing applications within heat-treating furnaces and Non Ferrous furnances.
