While measuring temperature at a single point can be sufficient for many processes where temperature differences are minimal, certain applications require monitoring temperatures at multiple locations. This ensures that the process remains safe, accurate, and cost-effective. However, using multiple standalone temperature sensors may not be feasible due to budgetary constraints or limited space.
