Description
Step down Flanged Thermowell shank is made from solid bar stock and welded to the Flange. These thermowells are commonly used in an application where fast response time is required. Flanged thermowells are commonly used in a high-pressure application. Our stepdown flanged thermowell comes with 1/2″ FNPT instrument connection and 1.0”-150lbs to 2.0”-600lbs flanged connection. Bore size is available to suit 3/16″ to 3/8″ OD sensor element.
Application
- Used as Protection Well for temperature element in Chemical and Petrochemical Process where media is highly viscous and corrosive.
- Makes leakproof connection with tank or vessel where temperature element required to be removed for verification or maintenance.
