In Flanged Thermowells shank is made from solid bar stock and welded to the required size flange. These thermowells are available in Straight shank and Tapered shank. Flanged thermowells commonly used in a high-pressure application. Our std. Flanged thermowell comes with 1/2″ FNPT instrument connection and 1.0” 150 lbs to 2.0” 600 lbs flanged connection. Bore size is available to suit 3/16″ to 3/8″ OD sensor element.
Application
- Used as Protection Well for temperature element in Chemical and Petrochemical Process where media is highly viscous and corrosive.
- Makes leakproof connection with tank or vessel where temperature element required to be removed for verification or maintenance.
