BRTD Tip Sensitive Copper Tip Bearing RTD with Electrically Isolated Tip is a resistance temperature detector specifically designed for bearing temperature or other rotating shaft temperatures. The copper tip probe is inserted directly into drilled holes (such as bearing housing, machine components) or the process. The copper tip design allows small changes in temperature to be detected quickly, helping to avoid major damage to the bearing or shaft. TempoTech bearing RTD comes with an electrically isolated tip, making it suitable for use in high-voltage motors and electrically heated bearings. The electrically isolated tip helps to prevent any signal interference caused by electric currents.

Application Note
BRTD Electrically Isolated Tip Bearing RTD is built for fast responses. Our tip-sensitive RTD has a copper tip for quicker response. It resists vibration and shock well. Common uses include bearing temperature and air duct temperature. It also works for other jobs with or without thermowells.
